A search result removal request checklist
Use this before you open any removal form, so the request matches what the search engine will review.
Write down the exact search and URL
Note the search words that show the result and copy the full link. Requests without them are often declined.
Open the page and see what it says today
If the page is gone or changed, an outdated-content request may fit. If it is unchanged, consider asking the site owner first.
Match it to a published request type
Personal contact details, outdated content and certain sensitive content each have their own form. Pick the one that fits.
Save screenshots and dates
Capture the result and the page with the date. Keep personal documents private unless a form specifically requires them.
Check back after you file
Search the same words again over the following weeks and note whether the result changed.
